Dhofar is the largest and most diverse of the Sultanate's regions. It stretches from Al Wusta in the north to Yemen in the south, and from the Arabian Sea in the east to Al Rub'a Al Khali Desert in the west. In this area, that is about two thousands Km sq, monsoon wind come over the Indian Ocean to Dhofar every year from June and continues until the end of September.
